Once upon a time, Maxie Bripp devoted his energies to removing other people's money from banks - with the aid of a handful of friends, some Hallowe'en masks and an assortment of dummy handguns. Arrested, convicted, and long-since released, he now devotes his time to depositing large sums of hard-earned money in banks; money he uses to fund a variety of philanthropic enterprises, including a gentleman's club for ex-convicts. His new life and reputation are under threat, however, thanks to a new wave of bank robberies which employ his old M.O. Under suspicion, and with his arrest imminent, Maxie calls in Honey and Sam. When he expresses the view that one of the members of his old gang must be responsible, the two P.I.'s start tailing the most likely candidate - an explosives expert named Mousey. Honey follows the man to an amusement arcade, but looses him when she collides with a drunk who blocks her path and insists on presenting her with an immense soft toy. Finally extricating herself, Honey races after Mousey - only to find that he is nowhere to be seen. Sam arrives at her side within seconds, and then vents his frustration on the Kewpie doll, tossing it in the direction of several trash cans. To the astonishment of the two P.I.'s, the doll explodes. Had Honey been holding it, the results would have been fatal...
