The contents of Honey and Sam's "dressing-up" box are given an airing when they set off in pursuit of an abducted businessman. The wife of Franklyn Buckley III is concerned when she overhears her husband receiving a threatening 'phone call. When she expresses her concern, he behaves dismissivesly, but she nonetheless calls in Honey and Sam to act as bodyguards. A week passess uneventfully, but on the night of a party Sam is assaulted, Honey's attention is diverted, and the businessman dragged aboard a helicopter that lands in the grounds of the Buckley's house. After a struggle with one of the abductors, Honey is left holding a curious medallionwhich leads the two PIs from a Gypsy caravan to a rocky cavern guarded by a beligerent gorilla whose furs are far from fake.
